No, you generally do not need to install any software because Securly Pass is a web-based application that can run on any device with internet access. You simply navigate to the system using a web browser.
However, there are a few optional apps and drivers you can install depending on how your school chooses to use the system:
- Mobile Apps: Teachers, staff, and students have the option to download the Securly Pass mobile app to their mobile devices from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Visitor App: If your school uses iPads or Android tablets as self-serve kiosks for guest check-ins, you will need to download the Securly Visitor app to those specific devices.
- Hardware and Drivers: There are a few different printer options that can be used with Visitor badge printing. Each of these have specific set up requirements. Please see your Visitor Admin Guide for more information on these instructions and requirements.
