Aware - Why am I not seeing the test email under the Aware Activity tab?

When you sign up for Securly Aware, Aware will send a test email as a sample. Sometimes, this test email, although sent by the system, is not displayed in the Activity menu.

This problem may arise if the student's email ID provided in Step 3 of the Setup Wizard does not belong to the OU for which the Aware is set up, and the routing option is not configured for it. 

1. Please verify if the student's email ID belongs to the correct OU. 

2. Also, verify that the routing options are configured correctly. (Refer to this Setup Guide for details.) 

3. To check if delivery restrictions are configured in your Google Admin Console, 

4. Then add ‘securly.com’ to the list of domains that you want to allow. 

5. You can check by sending a dummy email to any email ID included in the OU. The email subject or body should include inappropriate content, such as “I can’t take this anymore. I feel like killing myself today.” This text would be flagged by Aware. 

Following these tips should start displaying flagged emails under Aware Activity.
