To turn off the New Tab Page footer (which often shows extension info or customization options) in the Google Admin Console, navigate to Devices > Chrome > Settings > Users & browser settings. Find the User Experience section, locate the Show footer on New Tab page policy, and set it to Disable or Hide.
Steps to Disable New Tab Footer:
1. Sign in to the Google Admin console using your administrator account.
2. From the home page, go to Menu > Devices > Chrome > Settings.
3. Click Users & browser settings to apply the setting to all users, or select an organizational unit/group on the left.
4. Scroll to the User Experience section.
5. Find the policy Show footer on New Tab page.
6. Change the setting to Hide footer on New Tab page or Disable.
7. Click Save at the top right.
Note: If you are using Chrome Enterprise Core, you can find this under Menu > Chrome browser > Settings.
