The pause internet feature allows schools to give parents the ability to pause the internet on their kids’ school-owned devices.
To start using the pause internet feature, you will need to contact the Securly Support team at firstname.lastname@example.org and request them to turn on the feature for you. Note that this feature is currently only available for Chromebooks and Securly SmartPAC users.
Once the feature is turned on, the pause button on your students’ parents’ Securly Home app* will be enabled. Parents can then click the pause button to temporarily restrict access to the internet on school-owned devices when the kid is connected to the home network.
*This feature is not available on the web portal. Parents must have the Securly Home app to use this feature.
