How to Manage Rhithm Check-in Videos
This article explains a specific setting within Rhithm that allows campus administrators to manage the video content presented to students during their check-in process.
Overview of the Video Setting
Rhithm includes a setting that allows a campus administrator to turn off the short intervention videos that are presented to students immediately following a check-in.
How the Setting Works
- What it does: When this setting is enabled, it disables the automatic playing of intervention videos for students only during the check-in process.
- What it doesn't do: This setting does not remove video content from the platform entirely. The full library of videos and other resources remains accessible in the Rhithm Toolkit.
- Who can access the Toolkit: Both students and counselors can still access and use the videos in the Toolkit at their discretion. This is especially useful for counselors or other staff who use the platform in one-on-one sessions with students and want to use specific video interventions.
Administrator Information
- Visibility: This setting is visible to campus administrators within their settings panel.
- Permissions: Campus administrators have the permission to turn the check-in videos back on if they have been disabled. It is important for campus administrators to be informed of any changes to this setting and understand the implications.
- Student Perspective: For students, the experience is seamless. When videos are turned off for check-ins, they simply will not see them as part of that specific workflow.
