How to restrict access to personal Gmail on school devices?

Follow

When using school devices you may want to restrict the user’s access to his personal Gmail or Google Drive to ensure that no questionable material is accessed or stored on the school devices.

To restrict personal Google login

  1. Login to your Securly account
  2. Navigate to Policy Editor > Global Settings
  3. Enter the school domain(s) and any other relevant domains that you may want to allow access to in the ‘Restrict Google Login to these domains’ field. Note that multiple domains can be added separated by a comma.
  4. Adding Gmail.com to this field negates the lockdown of this feature. To allow all domains leave this field blank.

Note global settings affect everyone irrespective of the OU or user policy.

The user will now be able to access Gmail or Google Drive to the listed domains on Securly filtered device.

Note this does not apply to the Guest Network Policy
