Overview
Securly Filter now supports Image Blurring Controls, allowing admins to automatically detect sexually explicit images on web pages and blur them to enhance student safety.
How it works
Securly Filter can analyze individual images on web pages, detect explicit content, and apply a blur effect. Admins can fine-tune the experience by adjusting:
Detection sensitivity (how strict the detection is)
Blur strength (how much blurring is applied)
This is a beta feature and must be enabled by our support team. Please open a ticket requesting this to be enabled for your account.
Platform support
✅ Supported: Browsers with the Securly browser extension installed
❌ Not currently supported on iPads: Image Blurring works through our extension, so it does not apply on iPad devices at this time.
