How to disable notifications on Securly Filter

Yes, you can stop receiving  blocked activity alert emails for Filter. It will only be available as logs in your Activity tabs.

To stop receiving emails:

  1. Log in to Securly Filter and navigate to the Settings page.
  2. Under the "Notifications" tab, toggle the switch to switch off the alerts.

    Note that when you switch off the notifications, the following settings will also be impacted:

3. All alerts for the various Blocked Categories will also appear greyed out and uneditable. 

5. The 'Email Alerts' for all sites in the Block/Deny list of any of your policies will also be greyed out.

If you do not want to receive emails on a particular email ID, you can designate a different email address to receive such Filter emails. 

To disable notifications for specific categories:

  1. Log in to your Securly Filter account and navigate to the "Policy Editor" tab.
  2. Select the policy you want to edit (e.g., "Elementary Students").
  3. Click on the "Categories" tab within the selected policy.
  4. Locate the category for which you want to disable notifications. Categories with notifications enabled will display a green bell icon next to them.
  5. To disable notifications, click the green bell icon. It will change to a muted bell icon, indicating that notifications for this category are now disabled.

This feature allows you to fine-tune your alert settings and receive only the notifications that are most relevant to your needs.
