Blocking Youtube.com
YouTube traffic gets distributed via multiple URLs. To effectively block the YouTube site completely the following domains should be added to the Block List of a policy.
- youtube.com
- youtu.be
- i.ytimg.com
- ytimg.com
- yt3.ggpht.com
Adding these entries can be done per policy, or on the global list to block youtube for the entire organization.
If you would like to block parts of youtube without fully blocking all videos, each policy contains a "youtube" tab shown below where you can set restriction levels. If your students are being filtered via chrome extension, you can also block specific categories using the categories tab on the far right:

- m.youtube.com/shorts
