Admins can now choose to have their On-Call contacts receive text alerts for all alert emails sent by the On-Call team. Along with the email, the text message will be sent automatically to the contact assigned by the school for the student’s OU.
To enable this feature, log in to your Aware console and navigate to Account Settings. Under the Notifications tab go to On-Call and toggle the button for On-Call alerts to begin receiving the SMS alerts.
Note that your contacts may receive text messages outside of school working hours when this feature is turned on. However, they are not expected to respond to those text messages.
