Securly Classroom will play sounds to alert you when students enter a class, raise their hand, or start a chat. If you'd like, you can mute these sounds by following these steps.
While in Device Console, click on the user icon in the upper right corner of most menus. Then, click My Account.
On the My Account page, look for the Class session preferences section and under it uncheck either the Enable notification sound for chat and hand raise or Play sound when student enters class options. Then, click Save.
Note: Chat sound alerts are currently unsupported in Classroom MacOS agent.
