How to deploy DNS on your standalone Windows machine?

To deploy DNS on your standalone Windows machine you would need to follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Start > View Network Connections. 
  2. Double click your current applicable Network adapter. DNSwindowstandalonestep1.jpg

  4. Double click “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” DNSwindows-standalone_step4.png
  5. Select “Use the following DNS server addresses” in place of the default “Obtain DNS servers automatically.” 
  6. Now enter your applicable DNS server provided to you by your Sales Engineer. DNSwindows-standalone_step5.png

Note that these steps are to be done on all DNS servers for your school.
