Ensure an application has enough licenses for distribution

When deploying applications to iPads and macOS devices, it is essential to ensure that a sufficient number of licenses are available for each application based on the number of assigned devices. If the number of licenses is insufficient, the application will not be installed on any device. For free applications, allocating approximately 20% more licenses than currently required is recommended to accommodate future needs or unexpected changes.

To ensure that an application has a sufficient number of licenses, log into the Securly MDM and go to Content > Apps > search for the app you wish to check.  Look at the License Count column.  Are there enough licenses for the number of devices assigned to the application?

If there is an insufficient number of licenses, you will need to go to Apple School Manager (ASM) and "purchase" more licenses for the application.  See this knowledge base article from Apple - Intro to Buying Content
