How to Check and Update Chrome Devices

Here’s how to check to see which devices in your organization are running older versions:

  1. In Securly Classroom, go to Devices on the main menu
  2. In the Chrome Devices list, change the filter from All Statuses to Active. This will exclude devices that you’ve already deprovisioned through Google Workspace.
  3. Make sure that the OS Version column is included in the table. If it is not, click the gear icon and select it from the list of available fields.
  4. Click on the OS Version column heading to sort the device list such that the oldest versions show first.
  5. At the top of the list,  you’ll see the devices with older Chrome versions that may need to be retired or replaced. You can make use of the Last Seen column to determine if the device has recently been active on your network and the User Logged In column to see the most recent user. Click on any device to view the device details page to view all recently logged in users.

For instructions on how to make the switch to MV3, see this KB article.
