User-Injection is possible for iPads managed by InTune. This has to be created in Apple Configurator II or iMazing and imported as a custom profile.
It can pull in several variables like serial number, mail and userprincipalname.
Examples:
https://<CLUSTER>-www.securly.com/smart.pac?fid=<FID>&user={{serialnumber}}@yourdomain.tld
https://<CLUSTER>-www.securly.com/smart.pac?fid=<FID>&user={{mail}}
https://<CLUSTER>-www.securly.com/smart.pac?fid=<FID>&user={{userprincipalname}}
InTune deployment of the custom profile:
1. Navigate here to set up a new Configuration Profile for iOS/iPadOS or MacOS
2. Click +Create New Policy > Profile Type: Templates > Custom > Create
3. Name the policy "Securly SmartPAC with User-Injection" and click Next
4. Upload the configuration profile you previously created.
5. Add proper user/group assignments > Click Next
6. Click Create to finish.
