How to Add a Student to Your Class Session from Another Active Class in Securly Classroom

Teachers can now add students to their active class session even if those students are already in another teacher’s active class. This feature helps manage overlapping or special class arrangements seamlessly.

Steps to Add a Student:

1. Open your active class session in Securly Classroom.

2. Look for students who are currently in another teacher’s class.

   • They will appear with a note indicating their current class (e.g., “In class: French Class”) and an “Add to class” link below their name.

3. Click “Add to class” to move the student into your active session.

    

Important Notes:

• Override Current Class: Adding the student will transfer them from their current class into yours for the duration of your session.
• Visibility: The student will now be fully visible in your active session and can be monitored just like any other participant in your class.

This feature ensures teachers can manage unique class situations without disruptions to instruction.
