Issue:
A co-teacher does not see an Observation Group when logged into Securly Classroom, despite being added.
Solution:
- Log in to the Securly Admin Console.
- Navigate to Permissions Settings:
- From the left-hand menu, go to Settings > Permissions.
- Locate Observation Group Permissions:
- Scroll to the bottom of the Permissions page where you will find the Observation Group Features section.
- Enable Necessary Permissions:
- Ensure the following permissions are turned on for the appropriate roles:
- Create observation groups
- Run observation group sessions
- Check the boxes for the roles that need access, such as "Teacher" or "Co-teacher."
- Ensure the following permissions are turned on for the appropriate roles:
- Save Changes:
- Click the Save button at the top-right corner of the page to apply the changes.
- Verify with the Co-Teacher:
- Ask the co-teacher to log out and log back in to confirm visibility of the Observation Group.
Additional Notes:
- If the co-teacher still cannot see the Observation Group after enabling permissions, verify that their role assignment is correct and matches the permissions granted.
- Observation Groups are role-specific, so ensure that the roles align with the expected access.
