Securly Respond is the case management component of Securly Aware that allows student services team members to investigate and address student cases. These cases are collections of flagged activities that pertain to a single student.
Respond can help you:
- Investigate individual student cases and manage those cases to resolution.
- Collaborate on case management with other student services staff within your school or district.
- Communicate with parents and other key contacts in the case of an emergency.
Respond lets you manage flagged activities from inception to resolution by providing proven case management capabilities — tested and fine-tuned by Securly’s On-Call team of monitoring experts.
To access Respond, use this link: www.securly.com/responder/login, or go to securly.com and select Log in > Respond.
Once you open Respond, the main interface will look like this.
In the far left column, you will see Filters, which let you control the types of cases you’re viewing. Then, in the main view, you’ll see the feed of cases. New cases will appear at the top, but you can sort them differently if you need to with the Sort By dropdown above the feed.
Looking at the list of cases in the case feed, you’ll see some information on each case, including the source, whether it’s assigned or not, how long ago it was generated, a snippet of the flagged activity, the flagged category, and the student’s wellness level.
Any selected case opens up a right-hand panel from where you can take actions on the case.
