Why are email from some domains not scanned by Aware?

Securly Aware scans thousands of emails per hour and identifies suspicious and concerning content that needs attention from either the school admins or the On-Call team. To ensure the efficiency and accuracy of detection, the engine is designed to ignore certain email domains that usually contain spam, promotional material, advertisements etc. Additionally, certain domains outside of the registered school domains are also not scanned to prioritise school domains and eliminate the noise that such external domains bring. However, if a student replies to such an external domain email, that is then scanned and flagged if required. The criteria for allowed domains is constantly evolving as we continue to fine-tune our engines.
