Why do I get an authorization error when syncing Securly Classroom and Google?

While syncing Securly Classroom with Google, you might encounter the 400 error that prohibits you from accessing your account. 


To avoid getting this error, 

  1. Go to your Google Admin Console and navigate to Security.
  2. Scroll down to API Controls and click ‘Manage third-party app access’. 
  3. Select Classroom under the ‘Apps’ tab. 
  4. Ensure that your ‘Access Configuration’ field is set to ‘Trusted: Can access all Google services.’ 


Now try again, and you should be able to sync Securly Classroom with Google seamlessly.
