Aware alert sender name change
Notification emails sent by Securly Aware will be sent by “Aware Safety Bot”, replacing the previous sender name of “Auditor Safety Bot”. If you have any email rules or filters that are associated with this sender name, please update them.
Filter activities available in Aware activity feed for Staff
Normally, school staff would have to jump between Filter and Aware to properly understand the timeline of events when analyzing a student’s activity. With this update, the process is much easier, allowing staff to investigate concerning student behavior much faster. This brings more power to all the users that need to monitor student wellness, and allows admins to delegate tasks more effectively and make their student wellness workflows more efficient.
Video Scanning
This new feature allows Aware’s image scanning functionality to extend to scanning videos (up to 500 MB) uploaded to Google Drive and OneDrive for pornography. For Google Drive only, video quarantine is also available. In Aware, admins will be able to see blurred frames of instances where pornography was detected in a quarantined Google Drive file. Otherwise, the workflow works the same as the existing image quarantine workflow.
Microsoft Teams Chat Scanning
Aware users will now have the ability to scan students’ Microsoft Teams chat activity. Flagged messages will be presented in Aware along with some previous messages in that conversation for context.
