As a means of providing additional coverage to schools, Securly Filter allows schools to block all uncategorized websites at a policy level. This means that even if certain websites are (as yet) not categorized as harmful and so not blocked for users, schools can choose to block them enmasse. However, we have recently updated our database, and a large number of websites that were previously a part of this uncategorized group will now be unblocked for users. You may therefore see that some sites that were previously blocked by the ‘Block all uncategorized sites’ feature, are now available to all users. If you want to block any of these sites, simply add them to the block list for that policy. This change is applicable to both Securly Extension and SmartPac users.
