Specific information by rostering method
Overview
For districts returning to Rhithm this upcoming school year, your access to Rhithm will continue without the need to be re-onboarded. Depending on your rostering method, you may need to take some additional steps to make sure that everyone has access to their accounts.
Preparing for a new school year
❗ If there are any changes in implementation for the upcoming school year, please let us know by filling out this Google form.
Here are some examples of information to include:
-
If your rostering method is changing
-
If you need to add any campuses to Rhithm
-
If you need to remove any campuses from Rhithm
Additionally, you may need to change who has access to Rhithm as a district-level admin. If you need to add a new district admin, you can do so while logged into your district admin account by clicking "Invite user" from the Settings page.
You can also remove any district or campus admin users by following the instructions here.
ClassLink
Rhithm automatically updates rosters and will match the current roster information that is in ClassLink. Returning students' and teachers' classes and enrollments will update for the new year with the information in ClassLink, and they'll continue to be able to access their existing accounts. Similarly, users who are removed from ClassLink will also be removed from Rhithm.
Potential action items:
-
If any of your schools' org IDs in ClassLink are changing, please let our team know using the form above so that we can update them in Rhithm
-
If you are not sharing campus administrators from ClassLink and they've been added manually, their access will need to be managed manually for the upcoming school year
-
If you need to add new campus admins, you can do so by clicking "Invite user" from your Settings page
-
If you need to remove any campus admins, you can do so by following the instructions here
-
Clever
Clever rostering into Rhithm will be discontinued starting in the 2024-25 school year. You will be able to connect your SIS data to Rhithm via Securly Sync which can be set up by contacting our Support team at support@securly.com
Google Classroom
For campuses that use Google Classroom, you'll need to make sure that your list of teachers and administrators is up-to-date for the new school year. As a reminder, student accounts and classes will be created from the teacher accounts listed. More information on adding and removing teacher and admin accounts is available here.
Additionally, teachers should make sure to archive any classes from the previous year to prevent the classes and any students enrolled in them from being created in Rhithm. Please check out this video for more information.
CSV
For schools whose rosters are created with CSV files, you'll want to update new users, classes, and enrollments files for the upcoming year. Please see this article about how to download your existing rosters and re-upload files to make changes.
Feel free to reach out to our support team using the chat in the bottom-right corner of Rhithm, or by emailing support@rhithm.app, for additional assistance.
