Managing grade levels in Google Classroom

When rostering students via Google Classroom, Rhithm does not receive grade-level data from Google. Instead, students will be asked to self-select their grade level the first time they log in. Teachers and campus administrators can also override the student's grade level from their Settings page.

Selecting a grade level

After logging in via Google Classroom for the first time, students will be prompted to select their grade level using a dropdown menu. Students can choose their grade and click "Submit".

Changing a student's grade level

From the Users tab of the Settings page, a teacher or campus administrator can view and update the grade level of any of their students. Click the "Edit" icon then select a new grade from the dropdown menu, and click "Submit" to make the change.
